DESCRIPTION
SkiBound is a tour operator which has been specialising in school and adult group travel for over 26 years. As well as our locally run hotels, SkiBound operate ClubHotels that are exclusive properties run by English speaking staff. Our ClubHotels offer a relaxed and social atmosphere to ensure that groups receive a friendly, fun, value for money holiday.
The ClubHotels are situated in various resorts across the French Alps. All our resorts offer something different, from traditional French charm to lively and well established. The purpose of this role is to work in the hotel bar and restaurant; providing a high level of service to all guests.
Responsibilities
To provide excellent service at the bar, in the restaurant, lounge and on the hotel terrace.
To serve food and drink to residents and non-residents within the terms of the liquor licence.
Create an atmosphere, which encourages your guests to use the bar to a maximum.
Devise promotions and events to increase revenue.
Handling of cash and use of the cash register to provide accurate till readings.
Keeping wastage to a minimum and charging correct prices to achieve budgeted profit levels.
Stocking of the bar from the cellar, so ensuring that the full range of products is on offer.
The cleaning of the bar, terrace, lounge and games areas. To include washing and polishing tables and other surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning windows.
In conjunction with your Manager, prepare weekly stock orders to make sure the bar does not run out of items or is overstocked.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a British/EU passport and National Insurance card.
Hold a valid European Health Insurance Card.
Have a UK/Irish bank account.
Previous bar experience.
Must be conversational in French
